The company is a member of SAIPA, SAICA and IRBA. We offer a variety of professional services to our clients and we adapt to their requirements and needs. We become part of your business.

Company History
1949
The firm was established
in Brits as a branch of the
auditing firm, Crafford
and du Toit, Pretoria.
1976
The name was changed
to Grobler and de Klerk.
1996
Since 1996, Mr Grobler has
retired from the practice
where Mr Loots joined the
firm as a partner and the
firm is now known as
GKL Auditors CA (SA).
Mr H C Enslin was also
appointed as partner on
1 March 2005 and is in the
service of GKL since 1996.
2008
Mr Kobus de Klerk retired
from the partnership on
1 March 2008, but is still
involved as a consultant.
2024
Mrs C. Raath was appointed as partner on 1 March 2024 and has been in the services GKL since 2015.
Personnel
29 personnel members are accommodated within the firm and consist of:
- 3 partners RA/CA (SA)
- 1 Consultant CA (SA)
- 4 Managers
- 21 Trainee accountants and administrative personnel

Client Base
Our clients consist of:
- Companies and Close Corporations with turnover from R100 000 up to around R500 million with the average company turnover around R250 000. Turnover includes export sales to the East, Europe and America.
- We mainly function in the Brits/Hartbeespoort area and in Pretoria, Mmabatho, Rustenburg, Thabazimbi, Nelspruit, Johannesburg, Stellenbosch and in other cities in the country, such as Krugersdorp and Ventersdorp.
- We also provide services to trusts, individuals, farmers, schools, a variety of Section 21 companies and body corporates, lawyers/estate agent trust audits, churches, governmental organisations and other institutions and enterprises.
- GKL is currently the auditors of ± 350 schools in the Brits-area, Magaliesburg and Pretoria.
